We have many customers who come to us to get their websites upgraded, some sites required a major overhaul while others just need a few tweaks or some content updated.

When updating an existing website not built by us we need to carry out a number of checks to give the customer the best service we can, we will then submit a quote based on the customers requirements and the work involved to make the site achieve what the customer wants.

This Months Featured Website is Tartan Carriages

This month we feature a website that the customer wanted tweaking up, the initial requirement was to add video and slideshows to the site to make it more engaging for visiting clientele.

Because of the age of the existing site we decided to give it a complete overhaul, we changed the colour scheme, added additional galleries, social media icons, booking enquiry form, videos and slide shows, we then added a blog and some more pages to better show the services that the customer had to offer, but the upgrade didn’t stop there. It had been more than a few years since the site was built so we also had to do some work on the backend, updating PHP, theme, plugins and optimising the site for SEO. We also had to add SSL to give the customer that ever so important padlock that shows users that the site is secure.

All this was done within the customers budget and they now have a website that is not only what they wanted but performs well across all platforms. What’s more they can update it themselves from the control panel that we set up for them.

ALL4FUN

This customer had a basic HTML website and came to us to get it converted to CMS. The customer already had his own hosting and said that there were a couple of server issues causing problems with his site loading, so we needed to sort those out before we could begin the rebuild.

After we had sorted out the server issues we set about rebuilding the site using WordPress, we gave him a new front page, added some contact forms and transferred the info from his old site into the new framework. Then we handed the site back to the client so he could complete it in his own time, saving him time and money safe in the knowledge that we would be on hand to help him out if he got stuck with anything.
